Rainbow chickens

This Easter holiday I’m running art workshops at Kentish Town Farm where I also occasionally volunteer. These hand-felted Easter eggs were made by young visitors in session one. They’re a variation on felt balls and looked as if some rainbow chickens had laid them overnight!

Other projects have included drawing and painting animals onto acetate paper and a drawing from nature workshop today. I made a display of unusual seed pods, pine cones, leaves, squashes and pumpkins and during a rainy post-lunch session we greeted toddlers, teenagers, mums and childmindersĀ all mindfully working on their sketches.
